ResumeAI is an AI-powered resume builder that allows users to create ATS-optimized resumes tailored to specific job descriptions. Features include: resume text generation, PDF upload and parsing, cover letter generation, and resume storage in a personal dashboard. The Service is provided free of charge.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@resumeai.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Obligations — Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Generate content that is defamatory, hateful, or illegal.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale.
• Use the Service for commercial redistribution of AI-generated content without attribution.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content is yours. Any resume content you enter, upload, or generate using the Service remains your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership of your resume content.

The ResumeAI platform, its design, code, and brand assets are owned by ResumeAI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reproduce the platform itself.

7. AI-Generated Content

Resume content generated by our AI is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by you for accuracy before submission to employers. You are responsible for ensuring the truthfulness and accuracy of your final resume. ResumeAI is not liable for any outcomes resulting from AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated resumes will result in job interviews or offers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration.
